The first graphical ticker able to handle as
many messages and links as you like. Highly customable! Set size,
font, links, messages, background, borderwidth etc. in less than
5 minutes.
UpNews scrolls your messages from bottom to top
pausing between each message. Each message contains a linkable title
and short copy text. Configure all elements without programming-knowledge
at the head of the script: font-family, font-size, font-color, background-color,
borderwidth, scrollerwidth, scrollerheight, pause between the messages
and so on.
Newsscroller with highly configurable dissolving
effect. Allows as many messages as you like. Easy change of messages.
Each message can be linked to a different URL. The full dissolving
effect can be viewed with IE4, IE5 or higher. Netscape-users will
see a more simple message-rotation instead of it.
Great animation for your news! TextMagnet script
reassembles your messages from small portions of text that are randomly
spread out all over the screen. The script draws the text-chunks
together like a strong magnet!
NewsWheel is an impressive way to enhance your
messages with a great visual effect. It uses no images, so there
is no waste of bandwidth. Easy to configure.
TextSlicer slices your messages into small stripes
and and then rushes them from both sides of your browser-window
to their final position. The script rotates through as many messages
as you like. You can add a unique link to each message.
This is the sequel to one of the most popular
scripts online. It makes your messages dance behind your visitor's
cursor like a belly dancer. Very cool effect! NEW FEATURE: Now the
script will rotate through as many messages as you like.
Just doubleclick anywhere on the white space of
the document and the floating newsscroller will be displayed. Doubleclick
again and the newsscroller will disappear. The scripts works even
when you scroll down the page. Test it.
Let your messages dance! Configure fontsize, fontcolor
and fontfamily. Configure the dancing-steps with your favourite
imagemap-tool. Step-by-step instructions included.
By combining DirectAnimation controls (ActiveX)
and JavaScript you can rotate any text in any direction with almost
no bandwidth. Made for Internet Explorer.
The text that comes out of the fog! This is the
smoothest fade-in-fade-out effect for textscrollers. And probably
it's the fastest too. Test it! Made for IE4x.
Background-Echo-Echo-Echo is a rollover-script
creating a unique background animation in order to enhance the impact
of all kinds of links, buttons and navigation bars.
This is the ultimate billboard, messageticker
and bannerbox. Why? Because it uses all transition effects provided
by Internet Explorer 4.x at once. This means more visual attraction
with less bandwidth and space. Loading time less than 5 seconds!
Netscape Users will see a "light-light" version without transition
effects. Sorry folks!
This is the first textscroller capable of wriggling
though your webpage like a snake. The script allows you not only
to configure fontsize, fontcolor and fontfamily, you may even configure
the path by simply using your favourite imagemap-tool (without programming).
See instructions inside the script. Cross-browser.
Expanding ticker is a news- and message-flasher
for IE4.x combing several techniques such as dynamic letter-spacing,
fade-in-fade-out effect, message switcher. This DHTML-script needs
no images.. Thus it's very fast and easy to configure.
News-blur-ticker is a very stylish DHTML ticker
with an eyecatching blur effect, made for Internet Explorer 4.x.
Although the news-blur-ticker shows a graphic look and feel it does
not need any images. That's why it's very fast and easy to configure.
Text fader is a very smooth cross-browser DHTML
script creating a unique fade-in and fade-out effect for headlines.
Allows as many messages as you want. Very, very fast.
Do you still use boring background-images? Try
the new background scroller instead! It loads much faster than any
java applet or background image. It's certainly more informative
and impressive. And it doesn't waste any of your precious place
as it entirely operates in the background. Very easy to set up and
configure.
Alternates the font color of each character in
a line of text. Useful to catch the attention of your web site visitors.
You may also customize the color and font of the text
This script renders text with ascending font
sizes (from font size 1 to 7), starting over when it hits 7. Great
and efficient way of sprucing up selected messages on your site!
Embed any external HTML document onto the page
and fly it across the screen, with this cool DHTML script! Since
the content to animate is a separate document, the job of updating
and modifying it becomes a breeze. Use this script to display site
announcements, news, featured content etc. The possibilities are
endless... This script differs from the original Flying Message
script in that it is considerably more robust, accepting almost
any external HTML document to display without a problem. Version
1 (which only works in NS 4+), is not that forgiving.
Nicholas's cool Dynamic Fader script gently brings
into view various messages, then fades them out after a few seconds.
Also supports the display of HTML content (such as links), apart
from plain text. Cool!
This is a great DHTML script that rotates and
displays any number of messages, with a unique dissolving effect
applied during each rotation. The effect is archived by first positioning
a semi transparent, "spotty" image behind the message, and performing
a "wipe" action over it (see documentation inside script). As seen
below, the result is nothing short of spectacular... Note that this
script requires that the text to be displayed be absolutely positioned
on the page. In plain English, that means you'll need to specify
exactly a left and top coordinate (relative to the page) when defining
where the text should appear.
This script makes you scroll you text manually,
up or down at different speeds. This script now also checks how
far it can scroll and can't be scrolled longer then to "the bottom".
Updated with a small fix for a bug that happened when someone tried
to mouseover the links before the script had loaded.
This script changes text in a div when you mouseover
the links. This script works in both 4.x browsers, 5.x browsers
and degrades on lower browsers (nothing happens if a lower browser
user mouseovers the links)
This is a simple script that writes out content
in the browser window. It's remade and you can now have more write
objects if you want to but if they write on the same time Netscape
4 will only work on one of them. This new script replaces both the
old writeText and the disappearing text. There are 2 ways the script
can work:
This script fades and slides in and out news.
The code is totally remade and works in all 4.x+ browsers and degrades
for older browsers. You can in theory have more objects going at
once as well, but this makes Netscape 4 behave strange. This script
replaces both the old newslide and newsfade. There are 3 different
ways this script can work:
This is a TV-like message banner script that creates
a "always-on-top" message, centered at the bottom of the surfer's screen.
Use it like its used on TV- to advertise your products, or anything else
that requires special attention. The script comes with the following features:
Background color of the message is configurable. Comes in three "display"
modes: 1) Always display the message 2) Display the message for a set
period of time, then disappear 3) Display and disappear randomly. Message
can be set to either "flash", or not flash.
It used to be that a mouse cursor was just a mouse cursor.
Since DHTML came along and gave programmers the ability to track the precise
coordinates of the mouse, it was only a matter of time that cursor effects
started showing up. This is Peter's great cursor text effect. It's pretty
self explanatory, not to mention awesome!
The idea behind this script is actually quite simple-
By using the innerHTML property of IE 4 and the layers.document.write()
method of NS 4, I created a text that appears to "zoom-in" and expand,
by continuously refreshing the text so it's larger each time.
Text Animator is a great cross-browser text effect.
It fades in and out infinite text messages, with each message optionally
being clickable. The only shortcoming of this script is that it has to
be absolutely positioned on your page, meaning you have to manually set
the coordinates of exactly where you wish the animator to appear on the
page. A small sacrifice to make in return for such a cool effect...
Check out how DHTML can be used to replace images in
rendering 3D and fancy text! Text created with DHTML loads much faster
than gifs, and are easier to manipulate on the fly.
A script that causes any text inside a particular
tag to be "typed out" in IE 4.x, one letter at a time. All other browsers
will simply see the text fully displayed from the start.
Add flare and draw attention to important text on your
page by making them glow! This script utilizes the glow filter of DHTML
to first surround any text with a yellow "light", then uses scripting
to make the light "come alive" and glow.
