Mouse Over Images - Dialogue TextArea
This script won't work properly in MSIE because for some stange reason, the browser doesn't support changing the values of textareas.
Put your mouse over the picture to see the comments.
Insert into <HEAD>
<SCRIPT Language="JavaScript"> <!-- Hide from old browsers var sid="mitnamdliw_wildmantim"; function MakeArray(n) { this.length = n; for (var i = 1; i <= n; i++) { this[i] = 0 } return this } var ToolTips = new MakeArray(1); ToolTips[0] = 7; ToolTips[1] = "Put your mouse over the picture to see the comments."; ToolTips[2] = "COMMENT2"; ToolTips[3] = "COMMENT3"; ToolTips[4] = "COMMENT4"; ToolTips[5] = "COMMENT5"; ToolTips[6] = "COMMENT6"; ToolTips[7] = "COMMENT7"; ToolTips[8] = "COMMENT8"; ToolTips[9] = "COMMENT9"; ToolTips[10] = "COMMENT10"; function writeTip(imgIndex ){ document.tooltipsform.tips.value=(ToolTips[imgIndex]); } // --> </script>
Insert into <BODY>
This part will require a lot work on your behalf. I'll show you the lines for 2 images and the textarea. You will need to mess around with the tables or what ever you want to make this look good (It's too complicated for me to explain it all). Adding more images is simple, just increase the number that's in the "onMouseOver" call (i.e. There are 2 images here and you want to add a third, change 3 to 4) IMAGES: <A HREF="YOUR LINK" onMouseOver="writeTip(2);return true" onMouseOut="writeTip(1)"><IMG SRC="YOUR IMAGE" border=0></A> <A HREF="YOUR LINK" onMouseOver="writeTip(3);return true" onMouseOut="writeTip(1)"><IMG SRC="YOUR IMAGE" border=0></A> Textarea: <FORM NAME="tooltipsform"><TEXTAREA NAME="tips" ROWS=5 COLS=55 value="" wrap=virtual scroll=0 scrollbars=0>Put your mouse over the picture to see the comments.</TEXTAREA>

You can also mess around with the rows and cols of the textarea to change the size.
