Definitely a clever way to allow visitors to navigate your site. (Be sure to put this script on it's own page of your site.)

An easy-to-install tooltip script that allows your text links or image map to have a tooltip when the mouse moves over them!

An alternate version of the tooltip script that creates a "scrolling" tooltip. Definitely more eye catching, if nothing else. (Note that in IE, the tooltip will only be enabled after the document has completed loading) View notes below for cross-browser rendering issues.

Use this script to provide textual information about a link(s)! and is similar as well to a script used on Microsoft's homepage. Move the mouse over certain links, and accompanying text appears on the page describing the link. The text can be HTML based (bold, italic etc). Browsers other than IE 4+ will simply not see any text.

This is version two of the original textual tooltip script. The good news about this script is that it works in BOTH IE 4 and NS 4. The bad news is that it is a little harder to setup, and misses an important feature found in the original script. The area that will display the tooltip cannot contain a default text that will be shown when the mouse is NOT over any links or moves out of the links. It has to be blank. You'll notice that in the original script, there is a default text that is shown during these times. If you have a large audience of NS 4 users, this is definitely the script to go with.

A Perl-like tool that extracts out all of the links in a document, and writes it neatly to a new window. What's it good for? Well, personally, this script saved us a lot of time when we needed to move a long list of links, nested deep inside table cells, to a new document. Its a great tool for efficiently separating links from the other content.
