Popup window help
Posted: 30 Apr 2002 03:21 PM
I am trying to add several links called "more info" on the same page in the website. The purpose of the "more info" link is to allow the visitor to get more content about a particular subject by way of a popup window. I have about 20 popup windows ready to go but I don't know how to insert the links using "more info" links scattered across the page. On another forum I was told that I can't have more than one JS for the same function.

The other idea was to code each of the popup pages with code to control the size of the window and the browser controls, and then link them to the source page with simple HTML tags. I got the script for the window size but need help with the browser controls (I only want scrollbars).

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I am a novice with JS

Hey. Try this:
<script language="JavaScript">
function moreInfo(info) {
alert("Loading Page: " + info + ".asp")
/*/ + info + ".asp","helppopup",.....

<a onclick="moreInfo('Tech')">Tech</a>
<a onclick="moreInfo('Patch')">Patch</a>

Just put this in an HTML page & test it. With it you can have as many links as you need & only a short script to load the

Hope this helps.
